A Bridge too Far was the second installment of the Close Combat Series. Just one year after the original one, it featured various improvements, like multi-story buildings with elevation, dynamic LOS and LOF, management of reinforcements and supplies.
This time the action took place in Holland, in the famous operation Market Garden. If you take command of the Allies, your objectives will be take and hold six bridges with three Airborne Divisions and one Airborne Brigade to open the way for XXX Corps. If you take command of the Germans you must prevent the allied objectives, hold or destroy the bridges and overrun their landing zones.
